Eligibility Criteria
| Age Limit | Municipal Commissioner, Assistant Commercial Tax Officer, Extension Officer candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 44, Sub-Registrar candidates should be between the ages of 20 and 44, and Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspector candidates should be between the ages of 18 and 28. |
| Educational Qualifications | Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised Indian university established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, State Act, or a U.G.C. approved institution, or an equivalent qualification. |
| For Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspector:- For Men | Minimum Height should be 165 cm or 1.65 meter.On complete expiration, the circumference of the chest must be at least 81 cm, with a minimum expansion of 5 cm. |
| For Prohibition and Excise Sub Inspector:- For Women | Minimum required height 152.5 cm. The Body weight should be greater than 45.5 KGs |

TSPSC group 2 selection process
TSPSC will break down the selection procedure into two stages. Examination based on OMR: The written test will be for 600 marks, with 150 marks for each of the four papers (Paper I, Paper II, Paper III, and Paper IV).
Oral test in the form of an interview (only for qualified candidates according to the rules): The interview is worth 75 marks.
Based on their performance, TSPSC will compile a merit list of candidates, and all candidates on the merit list will contact for document verification.
The commission’s office will undertake the document verification. Candidates must carry their original documents to the DV location. TSPSC will prepare a final merit list after the document verification. Only those shortlisted candidates in the final merit list will consider for the final appointment.
