NEET-UG Score Validity

NEET-UG, the validity of results for admission to Indian colleges is one year, i.e., just for the current academic year. However, the MCI has issued an official announcement extending the validity of the NEET to three years to apply for admission to international colleges, as the admission process to foreign universities may take longer. In NEET, however, there is no restriction to the number of attempts.

What is NEET-UG?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, often known as NEET (UG) or just NEET. It is an entrance examination for Indian students who wish to pursue medical or dentistry studies in India or abroad, such as MBBS (Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Surgery) or MD (Doctor of Medicine).

Medical courses offered through NEET-UG in India

In India, 542 medical colleges will accept NEET 2021 scores, 313 dental colleges, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc & AH colleges will accept NEET 2021 scores. The Medical Council of India’s Board of Governors published an e-Gazette notification on March 14, 2019, amending the “Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002.”
