NEET-UG, the validity of results for admission to Indian colleges is one year, i.e., just for the current academic year. However, the MCI has issued an official announcement extending the validity of the NEET to three years to apply for admission to international colleges, as the admission process to foreign universities may take longer. In NEET, however, there is no restriction to the number of attempts.

What is NEET-UG?

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, often known as NEET (UG) or just NEET. It is an entrance examination for Indian students who wish to pursue medical or dentistry studies in India or abroad, such as MBBS (Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Surgery) or MD (Doctor of Medicine).

NEET is an offline exam that takes place once a year (most probably in May). NEET tests and assesses medical aspirants’ academic aptitude and eligibility for admission to medical and dental schools across the country and medical and dental colleges accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Eligibility criteria for MBBS abroad

• Students must have completed a conventional board’s (10+2)or 12th standard.
• Students who took open board or correspondence programs are ineligible to study MBBS in another country.
• students should include biology, physics, and chemistry in the 12th-grade curriculum.
• +2 / Intermediate with 50% of total PCB marks for students in the General category.
• Students in the SC/ST/OBC categories must have a PCB aggregate of 40% or higher.
• English should be a compulsory subject as well.
• The student must be 17 years old or older as of December 31st, and admission is sought..

Medical courses offered through NEET-UG in India

In India, 542 medical colleges will accept NEET 2021 scores, 313 dental colleges, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc & AH colleges will accept NEET 2021 scores. There are 15 AIIMS and two JIPMER campuses in total. This year, admission to the BSc (Hons) Nursing program will also do through NEET, but the seat matrix has not yet been revealed.

About NEET-UG 2021 question paper

The four-question paper sets for NEET 2021 were M, N, O, and P, with six more subsections such as M1, M2, M3, M4, and so on. The NEET 2021 question paper booklet had 200 questions, 180 from the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology areas.

NEET 2021 results

The NEET 2021 results expect to post on the NTA’s official website in the third week of October. Candidates can check their results by logging into their registered accounts on the official website. The NTA will announce the NEET cut-off points for this year, along with the results.

Candidates should be mindful that only those who score higher than the qualifying cut-off will consider for NEET 2021 admissions. The Medical Council of India has set a qualifying cut-off for each category.

NEET-UG Score Validity (Outside India)

The Medical Council of India’s Board of Governors published an e-Gazette notification on March 14, 2019, amending the “Eligibility Requirement for Taking Admission in an Undergraduate Medical Course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002.”

The announcement said, among other things, that NEET scores are valid for three years from the date of declaration of NEET results for admission to a foreign undergraduate medical course/program. The following is an excerpt from the notification that is relevant:
